Visited Lincoln. Goodness me, Steep Hill is no joke. I am pretty sure it is 45 degrees on the incline. Yes, we used the backpacks again, as no way would we manage to push the pram up that cobbly road.

Manchester/Lake District

It must have been the highlight of their day, visiting Old Trafford, for the two die hard Man U fans. Adam and Farah kept themselves busy in the megastore playing hide and seek amongst the gear for kiddies. Stayed at Yamen's. Headed off to the Lakes the day after. Orrest Head is a must for a fab 360degree panaromic view of Lake Windermere.

Visited Ida/Saiful in York the day after Syah/Shukriah arrived in the UK.Lovely to see the little cousins playing together.. Hanan just couldn't believe Adam and Farah can walk! Insyirah macho betul berlengging pakai nappy and top in the middle of winter... brrr! Ilyas is so cute, coming up to any new face with his punch line.. 'What's your name, I'm Ilyas  ' Thank You Ida for the gorgeous food, we definitely have to try reproduce your trifle and thanks Saiful for the lift. had fun sampling the delights of York and the designer outlet

Happy New Year!

We spent New Years Day in London. Tried to cram in as much as possible in a day. We walked a lot and I was well impressed with Lidiya, so fit she was! It was so much easier having the twins in the backpack, they were quite contented as they had brilliant views. Would recommend this to anyone, especially if you are trying to get around London. The tubes are a pain if you take the pram.Thanks Ida and Khalil for having us, we had a great time in Croydon.

Eid Mubarak

Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Adha. The Nottingham community went round for takbir raya the night before. The next day we performed solat at a community centre. Great seeing many Malaysians, and having the khutbah in Malay! Pot luck makan2 after solat. Adam sempat nak 'tackle' anak orang..

This is Farah's favourite.. Everytime she sees anything with feathers that can (vaguely) fly she will shout DUCK !! The nature reserve is not too far away from home. It was very peaceful going for a stroll around the lakes and by the banks of River Trent

Today is a special day, Aunty Mimi and Uncle Lamdek arrived to spend a couple of weeks with us, yey! We were a bit apprehensive at first because it was ages since we last saw them (hence, clinging to abah for dear life), lepas tu we were cool! High five

Beraya at Aunty Ayu/Uncle Khairi's

We went to see Hasan, Husin (twins, just like us!), Akram and their mom and dad, in Birmingham. It was great fun meeting them again. Thank goodness for the GPS Uncle Brian lent dad, it was easy peasy getting to their place. Hmm... we must have one of those things soon!

Eid at Hull

Adam and Farah had a fab time visiting Aunty Marina and Uncle Annis in Hull. Farah nearly gave Uncle Annis a heart attack when he found her upstairs. She crept upstairs quietly when everyone was tucking ino the delicious nasi ayam and roast chicken

This year's Eid was quite festive. Met many friends and family. Ate tonnes of food!
